The Human Resources Minor prepares students for careers in human resources. It will focus on the management an organization's human capital (staffing compensation, benefits, culture), organizational design (structure), and how to create value by assisting in the achievement of strategic objectives of an organization.

To complete a Human Resources minor students must take the following 15 credit hours:

• MGMT 2200 Foundations in Business
• MGMT 3100 Human Resource Management
• MGMT 3110 Staffing
• MGMT 3370 Management and Organizational Behavior
• 1 additional course from the following:
  • MGMT 3120 Leadership
  • MGMT 3130 Learning and Development
  • MGMT 4170 Compensation and Benefits Administration
  • MGMT 4180 Employee Relations
